Our Goal

The goal of this mission is to raise awareness of the immiment need for humanitarian care at a personal, national and global level. The awareness of this need is presently required at a personal level, amongst those more fortunate, to send a message that we are willing and ready to help, where we can, and that this help does not need to come at an extreme cost, but through a multitude of small changes and efforts. As people of relative fortune, we can challenge some of the basic misfortunes of others that result in the lack of their basic human rights.

Our Actions

The result of this idea is a unique fundraiser- designed to take an expedition and add a humanitarian element to it. The fundraising proceeds will be given directly to an existing Canadian registered charity: Global Peace Network.

The System

The fundraising portion of the expedition will be based on pledges per km travelled. Each km the riders complete will count towards a final pledge amount.

To illustrate:

If you pledge one penny per kilometer and the riders complete 10,200 kms, then your total pledge will be $102.

The website and charity will keep all pledge supporters updated after each leg of the journey. Supporters are welcome to contribute to one leg of the journey, or all three!
